It's not necessarily the best idea to have your friends tell this girl you like her if you've never talked to her before. Personally, if someone came up to me and told me 'so and so likes you', I wouldn't take them seriously. I'm shy also, so I can understand that you might be nervous but you should get to know her first. If your friends already told her, there's not much you can do right now except tell her that you're shy and you didn't know how to approach her because she was so pretty(flattery is always good haha). I personally wouldn't take looks into much consideration... just try to be friendly. If she comes up to you, just act like she was your friend.. don't think just do..

Okay, so I'm 12, almost 13, and my parents (mainly my mom) thinks myspace is too dangerous for girls!! She lets my brother (15) have on, because he's a guy! She thinks i'm going to get raped or something.

The thing is, all my friends have myspaces, and i really want one. I want a facebook too, but they say that Facebook is bad because you have to give away yer full name. What should I do? Facebook is like a gated community. However, you're too young since you must be high school aged at least. When you do get into high school you dont have to use your full name. A lot of girl use their first and middle name (ex: Amanda Lynn) so they don't have to give out their last name.

How about asking the Lady, (Mom), if it would be ok to have a Myspace page if she were part of it. Let her view your page and make comments. Just take whatever steps that are necessary to show Mom that you are trust worthy and can handle an account like this. That's how my kids do things. They run their ideas by me and then we talk and work things out so that in the end everybody is both happy and satisfied. Give it a try, I'll bet that after a bit she will see it your way. Kids lieing like that is what's giving the site a bad name and getting it put out as such a "horrible website".

Parents need to stop blaming the website, whicih is more or less automated on its setup, fo rletting their children on. Parents need to take responsibility for their kids and keep tabs on what they're doing. If they don't want them on MySpace, they should install a blocker program. The internet is not a babysitter.

You maybe able to get myspace to delete the pictures on her account but the pictures are in the public domain. She could quite easily post them elsewhere and you would need to systematically hunt them down which can be extremely difficult.

I deny all friend requests on myspace unless i know them personally. I would say don't take it personally. Go outside and just go for a walk. I came across a girl that I went to school with on myspace a few months ago and shortly thereafter I became interested in her. She is the type who fills out all of those myspace surveys and from what I gather from them she is very single. So over the last couple of months I have been trying to find a way to get together with her. First question for you is if this really is a good idea?

If work has blocked you fromthese sites, and they discover you have made efforts to bypass that protection, they very well may fire you for it. It's one thing to try to say you didn't know you should not gop to myspace at work, and another still to take steps to bypass the security.

No matter what you do, while it may be possible to hide the fact that you went to myspace by using a 3rd party proxy, it won't be possible hide the fact that your using the 3rd party proxy. (IE: While they won't know you went to myspace, they will know you did something unusual).

Also, if they scan your PC, they will still see the myspace web traffic (cookies, photos, etc).

However, if this is really what you want to do, look for an open proxy on the internet you can filter your requests for.
