Don't worry what other people think. And you should kind of talk to her and get to know her before anything happens between you two. Just go up and start a conversation with her. Some girls like shy guys. Just be yourself!

It's not necessarily the best idea to have your friends tell this girl you like her if you've never talked to her before. Personally, if someone came up to me and told me 'so and so likes you', I wouldn't take them seriously. I'm shy also, so I can understand that you might be nervous but you should get to know her first. If your friends already told her, there's not much you can do right now except tell her that you're shy and you didn't know how to approach her because she was so pretty(flattery is always good haha). I personally wouldn't take looks into much consideration... just try to be friendly. If she comes up to you, just act like she was your friend.. don't think just do..

How old are you? Myspace seems to target the younger generation (20's)...........although you can probably meet tons of girls this way, and it seems to be the way to go nowdays, there are other ways (tried and true) that can help. Expand your world; join organizations that interest you; pursue YOUR interests and hobbies; like sports? Then become active on the sports scene. If it means taking lessons, then of course, do it! You can't rely on the dating websites alone........sure! They're easy and fast BUT if you're still young enough to "get out there in the real world", what are you waiting for???!!!!! In person is the best way!

well first of all. u should never sneak behind ur parents back. otherwise, u'll never give dem dat sense of "oh she's earned my trust". i suggest u wait, plus ur just 13. myspace was originally for 18 yr olds. and facebook is for college students, but i guess they changed it. if u really wanna talk to ur frens online, just get AIM for all of ur guys and chat. no need for myspace, it'll only suck up ur time, and it can be dangerous. there's been cases of people getting into dangers, raped, and even killed/suicide. just talk to ur frens in person, over da fone, or chat. be the bigger person and do what's right, not what's "in".

Respect what your parents say. They tell you things for a reason, they have good reasoning behind these things and you are probably too young to have a myspace. The legal age to start a myspace profile is 16 and over anyway, so find something more productive to do! The world was still turning before myspace even existed and it will long after myspace goes away.
First off, stay away from MySpace and either way, you're too young. It's for people aged 14 and up. I'd like you stay away from there...more and more it sounds dangerous.
Facebook is like a gated community. However, you're too young since you must be high school aged at least. When you do get into high school you dont have to use your full name. A lot of girl use their first and middle name (ex: Amanda Lynn) so they don't have to give out their last name.
Your parents are not being unrealistic since you're only in middle school.

well i wouldnt suggest sneaking around behind their backs to get one because if your parents have any knowledge of computers theyll know how to check your history. id say just deal with it for now and maybe theyll come around.
How about asking the Lady, (Mom), if it would be ok to have a Myspace page if she were part of it. Let her view your page and make comments. Just take whatever steps that are necessary to show Mom that you are trust worthy and can handle an account like this. That's how my kids do things. They run their ideas by me and then we talk and work things out so that in the end everybody is both happy and satisfied. Give it a try, I'll bet that after a bit she will see it your way. And I would think that it would be fun to share a "My Space" with you parent.
take my advice it's really not worth it. just wait till your parents allow it. try saying i'll give you my password and you could check my friends and stuff. but really it isn't worth it.

Be patient and understanding. They love you and do not want anything to happen to you. Your friends, if they are the same age as you, do not have parents who care for them as much as yours do.
I'm 21 and I can tell you from experience MySpace is NOT a good idea for females in general. Women are more likely to be victimized then men...that's just the way it is. You have all the time in the world to have that stuff when you're older...you don't NEED it now.

-Tell your mom that you are making a myspace.
-Make sure to never put your photo up, cuz she will get mad.
-Put your page on private
-Give your mom the username and password so that she can check
The reason she lets your brother on is not because he's a guy, it's because he's older than you. If you dont want your mom to see your myspace then there's only one thing left to do. Wait. Myspace isn't a necessity, in fact without it you have a less boring life. I have a Myspace and all I ever do is check it, it's not that fun, trust me.

I was on MySpace a couple of days ago, and this girl/kid sent me a message asking me to add her. And I said "Sure, but first how old are you?" and her reply was, "10." Tell me what you think about that.

The minimum age for MySpace, as stated in their sign up agreement, is 14, and then it is as a private profile. This kid lied about their age.
Kids lieing like that is what's giving the site a bad name and getting it put out as such a "horrible website".
Parents need to stop blaming the website, whicih is more or less automated on its setup, fo rletting their children on. Parents need to take responsibility for their kids and keep tabs on what they're doing. If they don't want them on MySpace, they should install a blocker program. The internet is not a babysitter.

i think its insane. the only way she got her account is because she lie about her age. they have an age minimum on there but they lie to get on there and there is no way of stopping them. they don't relize how many sex preditors are on that site too looking for them.
