Myspace account being hacked into?

My daughter's boyfriend's myspace account appears to be the target of hacking. Last week a conversation that he supposedly had with another girl( that included suggestive photographs of the girl) ended up in my daughters myspace inbox! He says that he never had the conversation to begin with and certainly wouldn't send it to his girlfriend if he had. He says that he has had problems in the past where people have hacked in- posted dirty gay pictures and other horrific things about him on his page. The conversation took place one day and then 6 days later, someone sent it to my daughters inbox. Is he fibbing about the whole thing, or could someone actually be breaking into his profile to cause trouble? It really doesnt make sense for him to cyber cheat on my daughter and then send it to her. Unless he actually had the conversation and then someone found it and decided to send it to my daughter- so she would know what he was up to. Has this happened to anyone? Anything similar?

It is very possible for people to hack into Myspace. Just have him change his password. Make sure to tell him, that most hackers get your password, when you AUTO POST a code, and you give some random person your password.

Now I have never seen a hacker actually carry on a conversation, but I have seen Hackers send porn pictures and stuff like that to those peoples friends. The best way is to just report it to myspace, and change his password. Hope this helps?

Yes it has been happening, I'm getting it from a girl friend quite a bit until she changed her password. Same thing happened with my account, that it posted some kind of viedo to all my firends, but luckly i caught it and was able to delete it and change the password.

mypsace is really bad for hackers....The only thing he can do is change his password....And to make sure he FULLY signs out of it....If that doesn't help than just tell him to delete it again and start over....

What I would do in that situation:

How often does this happen? There is NO reason why he would have this conversation and then send it to your daughter- so, to me, it does sound like somebody hacked his account. If I were your daughter - I would have a tracker on my space ---- that you can tell who goes to your profile - (and don't tell anybody about it- even the boyfriend) so, the next time this happens- you can go and look who was there at the time the message was left - (IP- CITY- what browser they are using etc) - and - then you could narrow it down to who left that message.

btw- there are alot of viruses on myspace... where pics of sexy girls get left - I'm not sure this is exactly what you are talking about - what I'm talking about is.. it looks like a video- but, its some sexy girl on it - click on that on somebodys page...and.... you have a virus.

(happened to my son) - he got a virus that talked about.. email Emily @ ... and.. then it looked like my son sent it to EVERYBODY on his myspace.. which he didn't.

*wish I could see what myspace you are talking about- because I could probably tell* I'm a good investigator when it comes to things like this! lol

One more thing - this girl left "pics" Okay- there are my space girls (normal girls) - and there are always girl out there that are fake (my space fake girls- fake pages) - that just try to get your password.
