I used to get quite a lot of girls and stuff adding me to myspace but recently since facebook came out i get no1 :[ is there someway i can get my profile to appear in searchs more? im 22 and would like mates ranging from 20 to 22 really :] thanks

Ok Myspace will never die, so sorry to say that facebook has no effect on your friend request. Now also, myspace is cracking down on Women sending fake profiles to mens profiles. So did these people live close to you or what. Also it might be your pictures. Good pictures makes it easier to decide if someone will send you a request. Now on the other hand, it could be that your profile isnt detailed enouf, and someone thinks that you need to be. Or in worse case. Women not be intrested in your profile, but not to worry, there will be someone out there that will find you interesting.

Most people use face book now so you will probably not get as many people. But why would you want random people on your page who might not even talk to you?

the only way I can think of is for you to add the girls yourselves... I befriended a lot of semi famous people on myspace like victoria, Kimberly, ambareal from america's next top model, alek wek... eduardo saverin who started facebook with mike zuckerberg....

I understand facebook is more popular. All your potential contacts are probably there. Maybe you should go there and add a profile, too. More to manage, but you'd get more hits.

It's not because of facebook...right now Myspace is more popular than ever.

It's because most girls on Myspace are constantly bombarded with messages from unintelligent men spitting out babble, therefore we never WANT to look for a man and accidentally invite these sort of things.

Not sure if it's the whole facebook thing but maybe you need to update your page more or try switching your default pic.

It could be because of a lot of reasons maybe they are on other websites or things like that. But I use to get a lot of friend requests but it stopped coming I was`nt worried because I just started adding people I knew or want to know a little better. Just add people that you want to add it does`nt have anything to do with you not being popular or anything like I said it could be a lot of reasons.

well facebook was out before myspace, it was created by a student that hacked all the databases at his college and made profiles for them
